Now that my family is grown, I find that my life is still busy and hectic. I must say that a busy life is very enjoyable. For our at home family, even though it now numbers two, an evening meal together is a must. Chicken and Meatballs with Penne is a make ahead and heat meal which can be made with turkey or beef meatballs and marinara sauce. Both can be homemade or store bought. Banana Bread Two Ways

I have become a devoted BJ’s Wholesale Club shopper. On my last trip I managed to buy 8 bananas for $1.39. I purposely selected green bananas, before we could eat them all, four were becoming very very ripe. For a low fat version, substitute an equal measure of applesauce in place of the butter.  Still delicious.
